As usual:

Michael Moore speaks out against American policy, and therefore he is anti-American.

I wrote a big ol' rant about this on Friday, and the LJ client ate it via core dump. Suffice it to say that I am sick of being told that I have to rubber stamp every idiotic policy our idiotic president and his idiotic cronies propose to be a true American. What's more: I can be -- and am -- pro soldier while being anti-war. Dissent is a form of speech protected under the Bill of Rights -- at least until the powers that be manage to remove it as an obstacle to the 'war on terrah' (aka 're-election plan').

Am I automatically anti-American just for speaking out against those who speak out against those who speak out against US policy?

How convenient.

Hmmm. Be very, very afraid. (And I thought I was frightened before.) Was Over Sea, Under Stone deemed too dull for a crowd of 2007 children?

Clicky to comic source. (I'd also find someone who could do a better job with the text.)
